My Concept ~ The corn, and vegetables denote an unknown harvest. The desert is the dry oasis and escape and lack of nourishment for Tilden – where he got lost. The house is a framework, the furniture inside trapped in the same moment in time as the death of the child and the one picturesque home is coming apart with the secret the family keeps.
